I have a hype and term, should I still get into mining

I have a term and a hype, but I still do not have a proper money making method except for doing carrots and snakes in the rift. I am stuck between going into mining, however I feel like it’s a waste of having a term and hype. Or do a combats related money making method such as master mode or any other suggestions y’all might have.
